Groves High School GHS Completes STOP the Violence Project

In honor of October being Domestic Violence Awareness month, the Groves High School FCCLA Chapter has devoted their efforts to raising awareness in their school about the issues part of the National Program, Stop the Violence. On October 25, they hosted a guest speaker from the Savannah Rape Crisis Center to educate the chapter about warning signs and how to support someone in an abusive relationship. The issues discussed were cyber bullying, emotional abuse, physical abuse, and sexual abuse. It was a wonderful learning experience for the chapter!  By: Octavius Strobert
