Northwest Whitfield High School Northwest Whitfield Promotes Safe Driving
Northwest Whitfield FCCLA members gathered and divided into groups. Each group went to an entrance. As teenage drivers arrived, they were prompted with a question. Members asked each student if they wore their seat belt while driving to school. A dum-dum lollipop was given to the Norstudents who did not wear their seat belt to represent their "dum" and poor choice. Smarties were given to each student who wore their seat belt to represent their "smart" decision they made that morning. Along with this topic, they set up a booth at a Friday night football game. At their booth they handed out information about teenage driving, and also handed out key chains, bumper stickers, car fresheners, etc.
