Chapter President, Karolyne Gilleland, created a STAND UP! project about bullying to share with 4th and 5th graders. It was brought to the FCCLA Chapter officer's attention that bullying was happening in the Elementary School, and Karolyne thought it would be a good idea to talk to the students. Karolyne created her project "Speak Up Stand up Stop bullying" and presented it to all 4th grade students and 50 5th grade students. After she presented the students asked questions, and started talking about their bullying experiences. It was gratifying to see the students standing up and telling their story about what they experienced.
