Applying for a National Program Award
Chapters can fill out the National Program application in the FCCLA portal to gain state and national recognition. Cash prizes are awarded to the top projects at the national level.
National Programs enable chapters to carry out projects in their schools and communities in a variety of concentration areas. Through National Programs, students have the opportunity to concentrate on issues that help them view their role as citizens in a local and global society.
FCCLA offers eight peer-to-peer educational programs to help students develop real-world skills for life within Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education. Each National Program is designed to be integrated into the FCS classroom to help reinforce lessons with opportunities for hands-on practice.
