The following scholarships are offered this year for FCCLA members. All applications, including supporting documentation, are due by February 1
The ABAC Scholarship is awarded to a FCCLA member who is attending Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and majoring in a Family and Consumer Sciences field.
The Allen-Childs Scholarship is named in honor of two Georgia FCCLA Honorary Members: Charla Allen, former Georgia FCCLA Executive Director; and Pam Childs, former Georgia FCCLA Assistant Executive Director. The recipient must be attending a college or university in Georgia and majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences Education.
The Atlanta Farmer's Club scholarship is awarded to a FCCLA member planning on attending a college or university in Georgia.
The Frances King scholarship was established by the Georgia Association of Teacher of Family and Consumer Sciences (GATFCS). The scholarship honors the former state supervisor of home economics, Ms. Frances King. The recipient must attend a university or college in Georgia and major in a Family and Consumer Sciences field.
The Georgia Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (GAFCS) scholarship is awarded to a FCCLA member attending a university or college in Georgia and major in a Family and Consumer Science field.
The Inez Murray-Janette Barber-Daisy Lewis scholarship honors three legends of Georgia FCCLA: Inez Murray, former chapter adviser; Janette Barber, the first state adviser of Georgia Future Homemakers of America; and Daisy Lewis, former state adviser of Georgia New Homemakers of America.
The Janette McGarity-Barber scholarship is named in honor of former state adviser, Mrs. Janette Barber. The reciepient must attend a college or university in Georgia and major in a Family and Consumer Sciences field.
The MiQuan Green Next Young Leader Scholarship is awarded to an FCCLA member planning on attending a college, university, or technical college in Georgia.
The Mytrice Edenfield scholarship is named in honor of former Georgia Home Economics Region Supervisor, Ms. Mytrice Edenfield. The scholarship is awarded to a dedicated FCCLA member in Regions 6 or 7.
The UGA College of Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Scholarship is awarded to a FCCLA member who is attending the University of Georgia and majoring in a Family and Consumer Sciences field.
